Cornbread

Ingredients: 1 cup of cornmeal, 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 cup of butter, 2/3 cup of sugar, 2 eggs, 1 cup of evaporated milk. Directions: Mix all ingredients and grease with Crisco/ cooking spray (butter/baking) in cast iron frying pan. Preheat oven at 400 degrees for 20 – 25 minutes or until golden brown. Quick Recipe: Use 2 boxes of Jiffy Baking Mix & follow instructions on the box and add sugar as desired.
