Baby Back Ribs

Ingredients:  Rib Rub

  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

BBQ Sauce: Use BBQ sauce of your choice or the one previously listed in the recipe section


  • Clean ribs
  • Turn rib over; use a small knife & take a paper towel to remove the membrane off the back of the rib
  • Rub rib with above ingredients; which were mixed in a bowl prior to cooking
  • Leave rib rub on meat for anytime from one hour – overnight
  • Leave slab of rib whole and place aluminum foil on a baking sheet and wrap an additional foil over the ribs tightly between the foil
  • Slow cook in oven for 300 degrees for 2 1/2 hours; cook on the meaty side
  • Remove from and pour  BBQ sauce on both side of the ribs
  • Broil baby back ribs on both sides for 3 minutes on each side

  1. I agree.I enjoy eating ribs when there tender and flavorful and saucy.These look good but I like those sweet and sour ribs better!
