Wash and soak chickpeas overnight and drain.  Mix ground chickpeas or fava beans, parsley, red onions, fennel seeds, cayenne pepper, salt, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, garlic, and flour to round ball in a dough-like consistency in a food processor.  Deep fry in a large non-stick skillet 1/2 full of canola oil on medium-high heat until golden brown. Drain them on a paper towel.  Serve with flatbread, hot sauce, hummus, pickled cucumbers, and tahini ( ground sesame seed)dressing.  Falafel is a main Middle Eastern and Egyptian food. It is traditionally served with a pita.  The balls are served as hors d’ oeuvre or on top of salad or cabbage.
