Happy Saturday morning. The Potlucky fish for today is fried whitings. Breakfast consist of grits, roasted potatoes with bacon, parsley and onions.
Directions for Grits: (Serving: 4 people)
- Boil 3 1/2 cups water (Add more water for desired consistency)
- Add in 1 1/2 cups grits and slowly stir until mixture bubbles
- Reduce heat and cook until thickened, stirring occasionally until it is a smooth consistency
- Add butter, salt and pepper as preferred
- Remove from heat
