It's more than LUCK; it's love and comfort in in every POT! More than that it's the words, feelings, fashion and stuff that make this blog a MUST!! More than that the purpose of this blog is to evoke unity and pride through food, words and expression of love to illuminate and motivate.
This weekend I decided to share with you a version of sangria that included Chateau Puech-Haut Saint- Drezery Prestige 2015, a French Rosé I tasted. It was a light and easy wine priced at $22 per bottle. You can choose to use any French Rosé you prefer. Why wait for summer to enjoy the essential flavors of the season.
10 shots of French Rosé wine
2 shots of Cointreau
1 cube cane sugar
6 fresh raspberries (plus 4 for garnish)
6 fresh blueberries (plus 4 for garnish)
4 fresh strawberries (plus 2 for garnish)
Add sugar cube, blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries to the shaker.
Muddle ingredients in the bottom of the shaker until thoroughly crushed and the sugar has mostly dissolved.
Add the Rosé, Cointreau, and ice to above level of the liquid and shake for 3 seconds.
Strain the mixture into tumblers containing large ice cubes and garnish with the remaining berries.
