- 2 large eggs
- 4 large panettone slices
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tbsp of sugar
- Break eggs into a bowl and beat with a fork, then pour them into a shallow dish. Dip the panettone slices in the beaten egg, turning them to coat evenly.
- Heat butter in a large non-stick frying pan and add the bread slices.
- Fry the panettone slices over a medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until each side is golden brown.
- Remove the panettone slices from the pan and drain on paper towel. Cut the slices in half diagonally and dust with sugar. Serve immediately, with desired fruit.
