There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.

Many times the people closest to us are suffering.  Smiling on the outside but slowing losing themselves to ridicule, jealousy, and sometimes it’s not just one thing –it’s everything. Sadly, many people find themselves isolated during their biggest challenges because the people around them don’t know how to help, and don’t wish to make things worse.

A simple word can lift their spirits and make a world of difference.  By choosing these gentle words, you open the door to real help in what can feel like an impossible situation.

Things to say in times of pain:

  • You have omnipotence at your command and eternity at your disposal. Keep your head up.
  • “Do you want to talk about it?” It’s OK to cry,” or, “We don’t have to talk; I’m happy to just sit here with you.”

Remember, sometimes the best thing you can say is the simplest: “I love you.”

What can you add to this list?

will of god

  1. We can all learn from listening or just being there for others and perhaps by just giving to someone less fortunate. We can make a difference if we keep our thoughts to our self and not judge others because we will all be judged on how we carried ourselves through out our lives and the wisdom we might have offered instead of fault we blame others and never let go. “Do unto others as we would have others do unto you.”
